In the Blacksheepdesign office, we love food. So when Expressions Director, Stephanie Cottrill, asked us to build a new brand for her new café. We jumped at the opportunity.

Our brief was to create a contemporary and theatrical identity. We set to task with the existing name ‘Limelight' and gathered our creative minds.

The outcome is an identity that communicates Limelight's quality café fare and is framed by theatrical atmosphere. The subtle use of light and shadow depicts a stage setting. The vibrant colour was chosen to complement the cafes existing colour palette.

In addition to the brand, we provided artwork files for local signage talent to install and we developed a table numbering system with a twist.

The final design was received by the client with *squeals of delight* which we have now introduced into the design studio as a fair measure of success.
